On a seven day tour of Asia, U.S. Vice President Joe Biden boarded the jet to Hawaii from Beijing concluding his China visit. It was Mr. Biden's first China visit since taking office. A main purpose of the trip was to build a relationship with Vice President Xi Jinping, who is expected to become China's leader next year.
However Mr. Biden will carry some unpleasant memories of his China visit due to his quote on the Chinese policy to curb population. He said that the policy to curb population growth is "one which I fully understand- I'm not second guessing -of one child per family. The result being that you're in a position where one wage earner will be taking care of four retired people. Not sustainable. "
Calling China's policy "gruesome and barbaric," was Mr. Romney's response to the quote by the VP during his China Visit.

The International Horticultural Expo is underway in the popular China tourism destination of Xi'an. The Expo has been a big tourist draw so far, with Xi'an Xianyang Airport seeing a 20% increase in passenger arrivals during April and May. The Expo has put the city of Xi'an in the spotlight, and to take full advantage of this the Xi'an Tourism Administration has introduced a city discount policy for Expo ticket holders.
Those who purchase Horticultural Expo tickets can enjoy 30 to 50% off at participating scenic destinations around the city. Xi'an is offering beneficial terms to attract more tour dealers and independent travelers to the city, lowering the wholesale price for Horticultural Expo tickets for international tour dealers by 30%. The overseas publicity campaign is paying off, with international customers at local travel agencies doubling since the opening of the Expo.
